What Happens in my Guts? Limits and Boundaries

Art & Psychology Workshops Amsterdam

Sobre nosotros

What Happens in My Guts? Welcome to the What Happens in My Guts? workshop series. These workshops are designed to help you better understand, accept, and navigate your inner emotional world, using art as a tool for expression. Each session can be attended independently. One workshop offers an introduction to emotions, while the others focus on specific feelings or emotional experiences. This session will focus on personal limits and boundaries . Ever noticed that tug in your chest when you’ve said “yes” but really meant “no”? Or the relief that comes when you finally honor your own space? Or the discomfort when someone pushes past your limits? All of these moments are linked to personal boundaries. Boundaries aren’t walls that shut others out, but gentle lines that help us feel safe, respected, and true to ourselves. In this hands-on, experiential workshop, we’ll explore the many shapes of limits and boundaries: firm and flexible, spoken and unspoken. Through creative tools and reflective exercises, we’ll tune into: Where your boundaries and limits lie What helps you recognize when a line is crossed How to visualize your own and others’ boundaries Whether you want to better understand your own and others’ limits, or to deepen your awareness of where your edges lie, this is a space to notice, strengthen, and (re)imagine the boundaries that support your well-being. The workshop will be facilitated by visual artist Tasha Arlova and psychologist and therapist Giulio Ammannato. Participants will leave with simple yet valuable tools to identify, accept, and express their boundaries through creative techniques. Whether diving deep or simply observing, you’ll have the chance to connect more fully with your inner world. This workshop is open to anyone curious about exploring their inner world in a safe and supportive environment. No prior art experience is needed. All materials are provided.
